“The front desk staff was very helpful on check in. We booked a king room with Expedia but it wasn't available on arrival. Apparently, there is a problem between Marriott and Expedia when handling some bookings where one does not communicate with the other. However, the staff was quick to correct the problem by upgrading us to a double queen which was fine with us. Cheers to the front desk team at this property!”

“Salem Historic Downtown VRBO was exactly as described. It was close to downtown, and not far to walk or drive to eating locations. The three bedrooms, two bathrooms, desk room, TV room, laundry room, and kitchen, were all very clean. If we ever have a reason to go back to Salem, VA., this is the first place I would check to see if it would be available. A MUST RENT IF YOU'RE STAYING IN SALEM, VA.”

“Five adults had a wonderful stay. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. We actually made breakfast and dinner each day.Close to all the attractions we wanted to visit.”

“A good hot breakfast was advertised but all they had was a bagel bar. Room had a weird humid smell. The bed smelled like stale playdoh. They charged for parking (which they did not mention before hand) despite having a huge parking lot. There were a lot of bees outside in the front parking area which should be properly maintained in case children are playing outside. The only good part about our stay was the lady at the check in who was so kind and so awesome and answered all of our questions. I...
